When you think of church, what is the first thing that comes to mind? How does it work? What systems are required? What is included in your services?
What’s required to be present for a body of people to call themselves a church? The Biblical answer my surprise and challenge you. We believe God is for any style of church as long as it is healthy. Mega church, home church, small church all are good options.
With this in mind, our training helps students think outside the box of how you currently structure church, and think about what would be most effective for the people you’re trying to reach.
Intro Videos About Anywhere Church
WHAT SHOULD A CHURCH LOOK LIKE? What does the Bible say about what a church should look like? In this video, Pastor Terry Roeberts, a 38 year Senior Pastor of a local church, breaks down what a church should look like. Does it have to look like we have always known? Does it need a building, pews and services? Find out, in this video.
WHY DO WE NEED ANYWHERE CHURCH? Current statics are telling us that 56% to 70% of Americans are not going to attend a church service, no matter what. This means, even if we fine tune our services perfectly, people still won’t come. We can’t let that stifle our creativity to reach them. That is where the Anywhere Church mindset comes to play.
A HEALTHY CHURCH VS. A GROWING CHURCH Physically speaking, not everyone’s body is built the same. Some people’s DNA will allow them to be 6 foot tall, while others will only get to 5 foot, 6 inches. The goal is not to get everyone to the same height, but instead find out what your DNA is and create a healthy environment to reach their full capacity. The same is true when planting a church.
WHO ARE YOU CALLED TO? Every person has a specific assignment. To be effective, you have to find who God has called you to and then begin to make decision out of that. We all have limited resources, and wisdom helps us to know how to spend those resources we have to reach the people we are called to.
